In Astrakhan, the court fined the participant in the memory of the victims of political repression

The Kirovsky District Court of Astrakhan revised the case of activist Alexei Tyurin and appointed him a fine of five thousand rubles. It is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".

The court found Tyurin guilty of violating the participant in the rules of the event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

On October 30, 2017, activists, among whom were Tyurin, conducted an action to honor the memory of the victims of political repressions with a minute of silence. Law enforcement officers decided that the distance between them was less than 20 meters.

In addition, according to the prosecution, Tyurin held a poster with the inscription "We demand to stop political terror." In fact, as activists insist, these were two different posters. In the photo published by the site “Caucasian Knot”, you can see that the first part of the “phrase” is held by another activist, Mikhail Anisenko (in the image he and the beard).

Tyurin claims that the protocol under which he put his signature was later changed - a description of the circumstances was added to him, changing the essence of the offense. At the trial, the police officer confirmed the amendments, but said that he corrected the protocol in the presence of the activist. Tyurin himself denies this.

• In March, the Astrakhan Regional Court sent the case for a new consideration. Since a man is a member of the election commission with a ruling vote, an administrative punishment can be sentenced to him only by receiving the consent of the prosecutor's office, which was not done on time.
• On November 30, 2017, the Kirovsky District Court of Astrakhan fined Tyurin for five thousand rubles, finding guilty under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the order of the event).
