The Nalchik City Court has extended the house arrest of Aslan Iritov, the head of the Free Aul organization, until July 30, reports . Kavkazsky Knot

Aslan Iritov is accused of assaulting a policeman: he allegedly hit one officer in the face and cut his lip, and tried to strangle another. Iritov has no hands.

A preliminary hearing in his case has been scheduled for May 24.

Aslan Iritov's brother Beslan is also under house arrest. On April 27, the city court ruled to release him on bail of two million rubles, but the defense stated that he did not have that kind of money.
