The dean's office of Moscow State University is forcing the chairman of the Student Council of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Alexander Tonkonogov to leave his post. The reason for this was his publications against the construction of a fan zone on the territory of the university. This is written in the “News of the Initiative Group of Moscow State University” group on VKontakte.
The student report says that Lyudmila Grigorieva, deputy dean of the Faculty of Fundamental Physical and Chemical Engineering, accused Tonkonogov of inciting violence, which allegedly exists on his Telegram channel.
In her statement, Grigorieva pointed to the phrase “to gnaw the nervous system of everyone who thinks that they can give a damn about students and do what they need,” which was published in the telegram channel “Representative of the CSS from the Mekhmat.”
After that, Tonkonogov was summoned to the dean's office about his posts on the Internet. The deputy dean for extracurricular activities, Sergei Kasatkin, obsessively suggested that the student voluntarily leave his post, explaining that Tonkonogov was substituting the interests of the faculty.
“Kasatkin again mentioned that this story was started by Lyudmila Grigoryeva, and that if Tonkonogov refused to leave his post, the faculty leadership would be fired (!). Allegedly, the rector's office is hinting at this and is waiting for action from the acting director. Dean Chubarikov V.N. to remove Alexander from his post, ”the members of the initiative group of Moscow State University report.
