Nikol Pashinyan can become the Prime Minister of Armenia

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), who has a majority in the country's parliament, will support the candidate in the election of the Prime Minister, who will be nominated the third parliamentarians. This was based on the RPA meeting with the participation of the former president and former Prime Minister of Armenia Serge Sargsyan was stated by the head of the Vagram Bagdasaryan faction. He added that the Republican Party would not put forward his candidate.

The only candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia is Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the protesters. After May 1, he could not gain enough votes of parliamentarians to head the government, tens of thousands of people entered the streets of Yerevan. They blocked the roads, blocked the metro and entrances to government buildings. The next vote of the parliament on the choice of a new prime minister is scheduled for May 8 .
