The President of the Czech Republic announced the production of a small amount of Novichok in the country

Czech President Milas Zeman said that small amounts of the nerve agent Novichok were produced in the country in 2017.

According to Zeman, the military research institute in Brno produced, tested and then destroyed a small amount of the substance A-230, which, according to the military intelligence report, falls into the Novichok category.

Other organizations, including the Security and Information Service, told the president that it was not Novichok, but he decided to rely on the opinion of military intelligence.

“The conclusion is that we created and tested Novichok, albeit in small quantities, and then destroyed it. Pretending that this is not so is hypocrisy,” the president said (Czech).
