The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined eight participants in the protest against the blocking of Telegram 10 thousand rubles each. Mediazonawrites about this with reference to Pussy Riot member Maria Alekhina.

The court imposed fines on students Stepan Vyboch and Olga Savchenko, Open Russia employee Sofya Trofimova, and activists Alisa Gordeeva, Alexander Sofeev, Lyudmila Sukova, Heinrich En von Destio and Yegor Eremeev.

On April 16, 12 people were detained at the protest. At first, a lawyer was not allowed into the police department to see the detainees, and then they were not allowed to inform their relatives about their detention, their personal belongings were taken away and they were placed in cells overnight. Protocols were drawn up against the detainees under Part 1 of Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code (organizing a simultaneous mass presence of citizens in a public place, resulting in a violation of public order).
Yulia Kostenko and Alina Muzychenko were fined 10 thousand and 20 thousand rubles, respectively. Maria Alekhina and Dmitry Tsorionov were each sentenced to 100 hours of compulsory work. The protocols on administrative offenses say that by launching airplanes at the front door of the FSB and “perpendicular to the movement of pedestrians,” the protesters allegedly interfered with the passage of citizens.
On Friday, April 13, the Tagansky Court of Moscow satisfied the claim of Roskomnadzor and made a decision to block the Telegram messenger in Russia.
