1818 Karl Marx was born

Two hundred years ago, on May 5, 1818, Karl Marx, a German philosopher, economist, sociologist and politician, was born. In his main work, Capital, he gave a description of the political economy of capitalism, which has retained its significance to this day.

Marxism had a great influence on the development of world social thought, but over the course of the 20th century its provisions became largely outdated and, moreover, were thoroughly compromised by the activities of the dogmatic followers of Marx - the communists.

Marx said that "an end that requires the wrong means is not a right end." However, adherents of the Marxist teaching repeatedly deviated from this principle.
