In Chelyabinsk, people in civilian clothes who identified themselves as police officers are trying to enter the apartment of Libertarian Party activist Alexander Andreev. He himself reported this.
OVD-InfoPolice officers stood at the door for two hours and left, but after a while they returned and turned off the electricity in Andreev’s apartment. Law enforcement officers explain their actions as an investigation into the theft of a battery from a car.
The activist’s mother is in the apartment. The police asked her about the children’s school schedule and asked Andreev himself to come to the window. The woman feels unwell and wants to call an ambulance, but is afraid that in this case the law enforcement officers will enter the apartment along with the doctors.
Andreev believes that the visit of the police officers is connected with his activist activities. Previously, he submitted an application to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central District of Chelyabinsk for the police to seize flags of the Libertarian Party at the “He is not our king” rally on May 5. The activist himself did not participate in the event.
