In Novosibirsk, Orthodox activists and HIV descendants opposed a project aimed at preventing AIDS among adolescents. They published an open letter to representatives of the authorities with a request to check and, if possible, close the only organization in the region occupied by this problem.

Opponents of the Humanitarian Project organization turned to the acting governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov and three ministers of the region, as well as to the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokotya and the general director of the presidential grant fund Ilya Chukalin, the letter published on May 5 in the Living Journal .

Social activists indicate that in 2017 the organization "Humanitarian Project" received a presidential grant of 7.4 million rubles, according to the authors of the letter, for molestation of children. Activists are confident that under the guise of HIV prevention, the humanitarian project carried out drug marketing, and under the guise of preventing sexually transmitted (STIs), among minor children, distributed information that provokes early sexual relations, and thereby contributed to the spread of STIs. “At the same time, the methods of manipulation of consciousness, NLP and other psychotechnics were used,” the appeal says.

"The experience of other regions shows that even single conversations with children and adolescents annually held on December 1, as part of World AIDS day, can do irreparable harm to the moral development of the younger generation and significantly affect demography," HIV -reporters emphasize. They offer the authorities to take the organization’s activities for special control and "take measures to protect children and adolescents from information that harms their physical, mental and moral health."
