Six people shot in car in Tennessee

Police in the state of Tennessee in the United States are looking for a criminal who opened fire on the passengers of one of the cars on the street of Memphis. As a result, two people were killed and four more were seriously injured.

The suspect fled the crime scene in a gold-colored sedan, US News reports, citing city police.

Shots were fired on the night of May 6 on Watkins Street in Memphis, near the local landmark Crosstown Concourse, an Art Deco building built in the 1920s. At the scene, six people were found with gunshot wounds in the car involved in the accident, WREG.com reports. One victim died on the spot, and the other died in the hospital. Four more wounded are in critical condition, Memphis police said on Twitter .

One of the victims was 14 years old, RBC reports.

Eyewitnesses said they heard 13 shots and a noise similar to the sound of an impact in an accident. Apparently, after the shooting, the out-of-control vehicle collided with an obstacle.

We add that on May 4, 22-year-old DeMarco Churchville was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee. The murder was committed during a conflict that occurred at the Opry Mills Mall. The suspect was detained by the police. He turned out to be the same age as the deceased, Justin Golson.
