You, my dear friends and readers, are happy people: when you reveal the fresh issue of the newspaper, you were already able to observe the great moment of the next entry of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin President of the Russian Federation. Inauguration ... or, in the spirit of our traditions, accession. And when I write this letter, I have not yet seen this wonderful sight.

Before our country, brilliant development prospects arise. And before the country in general, and before science, before education. But our people are incredulous - they are wondering what and how it will be, whether additional funds allocated to increase the salaries of teachers and scientists will disappear after May, who will become the head of government, whether the Ministry of Education and Science will be abolished, who will be appointed Minister or Ministers, which will happen to Fano.

Various rumors go to this subject. But I am not fond of the spread of rumors, I draw conclusions based on the analysis of the existing facts, as be the scientist. Therefore, I have formed my opinion on what and how it will happen. Like any hypothesis, it can be erroneous, but I consider it necessary to bring it to the public court.

The question of the Prime Minister, in my opinion, does not deserve a serious discussion: there can be no other candidate other than Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev. After all, they and the national leader are a victorious duumvirate. As Octavian Augustus with Mark Anthony defeated the formation of Brutus and Cassius at the Philippi of the formation of the democrats and supporters of the republic, so Vladimir Vladimirovich and Dmitry Anatolyevich defeated the ISIS banned in Russia, threw Bandera Hordes from the Crimea and suppressed the Hydra of internal troubles, led by the royal Democrats by Navalny and Udaltsov.

The question with the management of science and education is not so simple, I would even say very confusing. They say that the government will leave the First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Ivanovich Shuvalov, who will go to my native university. On the one hand, this would be very symbolic and would refer us to the time of the founding of Moscow State University. On the other hand, I do not see anyone but Viktor Antonovich’s rector of my native university. It is with it that not only the survival of the university in the difficult 1990s, but also rapid development in subsequent years. Also, Igor Ivanovich, despite his versatile talents, does not have proper scientific authority. Therefore, I believe that it is unlikely that a change of rector is waiting for us.

The question with the Ministry of Education and Science is more complicated. If you create the Ministry of Science, then why do you need a fan - what kind of ministry almost without subordinate organizations? We will have to transfer academic institutes to the ministry and liquidate the fan. As they say, from empty to empty; In addition, all attempts to establish the interaction of FANO and RAS will go to dust.

This can be avoided if you create the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, but who will lead it? They talk about Dmitry Livanov. Dmitry Viktorovich, of course, is a hero, he proved to be excellent in the fight against the Academy, struggling a stagnant presidium in a stubborn martial art. But later Dmitry Viktorovich was appointed special representative on trade and economic relations with Ukraine. And this, you know, is a very interesting resignation ...

In addition, as you know, time to collect stones and time to scatter stones. Now Vladimir Vladimirovich favors the new leadership of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and he is unlikely to want to revive a former conflict. Again, Dmitry Viktorovich at the present time is too inclined to look back to the west. So, I think, in whatever form the ministry continues to exist, it is unlikely that Dmitry Livanov will be headed.

Rather, if some scientific ministry is created, then Grigory Vladimirovich Trubnikov will become its leader. This candidate is good from all sides. Grigory Vladimirovich is a young technocrat, firmly standing in the positions of state benefits. Academician, but not from academic structures. A person who, like Mikhail Valentinovich, is close to Megasail projects.

But, colleagues, the main thing is not who will take which post, but that we can continue to look with confidence in the future!
