Political strategist, president of the Center for Political Technology, Igor Bunin, died at the age of 72. This information was confirmed by a member of the Board of the Russian Association of Political Consultants Peter Bystrov.
According to Bystrov, the cause of Bunin’s death could be a stroke.

Igor Bunin was one of the most famous Russian political technologists. In the early 1990s, he headed the Center for Political Technology (CPT), one of the oldest Russian political counseling organizations.
According to Medusa, Igor Bunin participated in the closed meetings of Vladimir Putin with the elected political technologists, who, according to one of the participants in the meetings, were “a sign of attention for holding elections” by the president. Bunin was also engaged in the political counseling of Moscow mayors Yuri Luzhkov and Sergei Sobyanin.
