The president was driving the head of the KamAZ in the column of trucks, which were the first to drive along the Crimean bridge.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the president said that this is a historical event, "because in different historical eras, even under the king-priest, people dreamed of building this bridge."
Together with Putin, the Crimean bridge was opened by billionaire Arkady Rotenberg, whose company was a general contractor of construction.

Movement on a four -way bridge with a length of 19 km will begin on Wednesday.
In parallel with the road bridge, railway is also built - its commissioning is scheduled for 2019.
