Dmitry Brusnikin will become the artistic director of the theater "Practice"

The acting director of the experimental theater center of the new drama "Practice", director Dmitry Brusnikin will lead him as an artistic director.

This was announced on May 15 at a press conference in "Practice". Now the Moscow Culture Department makes appropriate changes to the charter of the theater.

In June 2016, Dmitry Brusnikin was chosen by the chief resident of the Practice Theater, from May 3 he acts as its director. “The Moscow Department of Culture made me an offer to be the artistic director of the theater. I agreed only on the conditions that the director’s structure will be changed here, that is, so that it was my ally. “Practice” remains the production theater, its main priority will be the priority and release of theatrical blockbusters. “There will be more such performances as“ Chapaev and Emptiness ”,“ this is also me. In "Practice" five new directions are created, each of which will be assigned its own curator:

  Reading modern plays, open laboratories, cooperation with festivals, poetic evenings, hip-hop battles.

• Multimedia
  Search for intersections of technology and art inside the theater, laboratories, exhibitions, performances and festivals, dedication of speakers and practitioners, showroom competitions - ideas of short performances, programs for children, Playtronica .

• Educational projects
  A cycle of thematic lectures, release of lectures-scenes, presentations.

• Social projects
  Issue and rental of socially significant performances, collaborations with charity funds.

• Theater-master
  Residents of the Practice Theater - workshop of Dmitry Brusnikin, workshop of Oleg Kudryashov, workshop of Viktor Ryzhakov. Rental of final performances of theater universities. Joint projects with other theater workshops.
