The latest history of the Russian theater continues to be written as a martyrologist. Yesterday in Moscow, at the 62nd year of her life, Elena Gremina suddenly died -a month later with a little after the departure of her husband and ally Mikhail Ugarova . Now the orphaned “theater.doc”, over the past years pursued by the authorities and is still in the status of a refugee , will continue to fight for independence without its founders. With an outstanding playwright, theatrical ascetic and citizen, the closest associates of Elena Gremina - Marina Razbuzhkina and Ivan Zarypaev say goodbye.
Our last Correspondence on Facebook ends in my words: "Then I will tell you everything ..."
I will now tell Lena what I did not have time during my lifetime.
Lenochka, I only now realized who you are like.
On this young man from the early film of Otar Ioseliani Listopad.
There is a simple plot. Two young guys come to practice for the production plant. And the director received an order from his homeland: to fulfill a plan for the number of bottled wine. And wine - it as a child should grow and mature. And before the deadline, it is not necessary to drink it. Everyone, including directors, understand this, but where you go - an order from above. Only one kid from these brand new does not understand: how can you pour unripe wine? He sincerely does not understand this. He is not a fighter. This misunderstanding, the non -consumption of evil is sewn into his genetics, into his blood, in his heart. I did not revise the film, but I remember a long panorama on the wall of the apartment in which the young man lives. There, in the photo, a long love story of grandfathers and grandmothers, dads and mothers, happy children ...
This boy is you, Lena. No dissident or resistance. In your genes, the non -consumption of evil also lives. It is as natural as air. I remember, any violence caused you not horror, but surprise: is it possible, does it happen? Misha was nervous, ironic, horrified, and you were surprised. You sincerely thought that in the cells of other people this marker is also sewn, which perfectly precisely separates black from white, but for some reason he is silent: maybe he was erased, maybe his carrier is sick and you just need to treat him?
When the state turned off all its “virtuous” markers and began to chase the tiny basement theater, discovering the main enemy in it, it, oddly enough, came to the address. Because your natural “opposition to evil” is the worst and most incomprehensible for any monster. People like you cannot be tamed, crush, seduce. Such can only be destroyed.
For the first time in my life, I want that light to exist and you meet there with Misha.
Such people cannot be tamed, crouched, seduced. Such can only be destroyed.
Don't know. Somehow I don’t want to write some obvious things about what and how much Elena Anatolyevna did-both of them, these great people, Lena and Misha-for Russian culture, for the theater, for playwrights, actors and directors, for the development of the country.
No, not countries-because countries are not developing-but for the development of people, because people are developing, although it seems to some that countries are developing, but this is an optical-religious-patriotic deception.
I think there is a lot about Elena Anatolyevna - and all this is very bright and even very pathos. But let me not write about who Elena Gremin is in art, in culture in general and, most importantly, in drama. Today I want to say goodbye to my colleague, with a playwright, with a writer. With an amazing, incredible person. With a cosmic person.
My dear Elena Anatolyevna, dear those who still stay here, and those who come later. There are many names in Russia that should remain in the history of our culture. A whole list from the 19th century (I, of course, will not bring it here), a whole list from the 20th century (about the earlier centuries, consider that as if I did not forget either), but the 21st century has just begun. And in this century, in Russian culture, the names of "the first people of the beginning of the century." And since the theater . DOC ”-whether someone wants this, whether someone agrees with this or not-anyway, is already part of the history of the great Russian theater, then the surname Gremina and Ugarov are also now entered into the history of this long-suffering and ***** (all patriots-to perceive the word“ ***** ”only as a compliment) of the country.
Dear Elena Anatolyevna. It was a great honor for me to know you and be able to do something next to you and under your care. Thank you very much. Amen.
