The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan arrested Andrey Boyarshinov, the initiator of the “opposition walk” on May 5, for 20 days. He was found guilty of repeated violation of the order of the rally (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), Idel . Realities".
According to the publication, on May 18, the activist himself came to the Yapeev police department, after which he was detained. Boyarshinov spent the night at the police department.
The protocol states that the activist “organized an unauthorized public event in the form of a procession in the form of a so-called walk as part of the all-Russian campaign ‘He is not our king’, <…> not coordinated with the executive committee of Kazan.”
Boyarshinov noted in court that the participants in the “walk” did not carry posters or chant slogans, so the event cannot be called a procession.
