In Chita, 150 entrepreneurs held a rally at which they protested against the conditions in which the business community in the region has to work. Activists advocate a reduction in real estate tax, a decrease in tariffs and against the installation of online cash desks, a participant in the coordination council of the independent association of entrepreneurs of the Trans-Baikal Territory Lev Aleksandrov told the correspondent of the Coordinating Council.
According to the activist, the conditions for business in Transbaikalia are strikingly different from the situation in neighboring regions, such as Buryatia and the Irkutsk region, where the tax and tariff policy are softer. So, in Buryatia, heat tariffs for business are less four times, in Irkutsk - half. Entrepreneurs demand to check the formation of the TGK-14 tariff. According to Aleksandrov, the Chita for 20 years did not receive “living” money from the company, the calculations were conducted through the offset of the volume of major repairs, while the degree of wear of equipment for power engineers is 70-80%.
Businessmen also require reducing the property tax rate from the current 1% to 0.3%, as in Buryatia, or to tie it to the inventory value of objects, instead of the cadastral - as in the Angara region. Even according to the tax inspectorate, the difference between the inventory and cadastral value reaches seven times.
According to Alexandrov, the attitude of the authorities towards business was manifested in the fact that instead of the city center, their rally was agreed on the outskirts , in the village of KSK, as the last time. “The formal reason is the holding of the city day in the center of rehearsal. It turns out that rehearsal is more important than real problems,” the entrepreneur notes. He explains the low activity of the business community itself by the fact that it is easier for people to change the region than fight the authorities, and they “vote with their feet” moving to where it is easier to conduct business.
The first rally of entrepreneurs was held in December 2017. The same topics were raised on it: businessmen protested against high tariffs for the heat of TGK-14 and the authorities of the region of the property tax rate.
