Kudrin was appointed chairman of the Accounts Chamber

The State Duma approved the candidacy of Alexei Kudrin to the post of chairman of the Accounts Chamber. It is reported by "Medusa".

In support of Kudrin, 264 deputies voted. 43 opposed the same.

In 2000-2011, Kudrin held the posts of the Minister of Finance and (with a break in 2004-2007-Deputy Prime Minister). In April 2016, he became the deputy chairman of the Economic Council under the President . The predecessor of Kudrin as chairman of the Accounts Chamber Tatyana Golikova on May 18 transferred to the government as Deputy Prime Minister on Health, Education and Social Policy.
