Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk said he wants to create a website to assess the level of trust in journalists and is considering calling it Pravda .

I will create a site where people can rate each article and track the level of trustworthiness of each journalist, editor and publication over time. I think I will call it "Pravda"

According to the entrepreneur, the site “must not only be protected from bots, but also expose those who use armies of bots to spread disinformation.”

Musk created a Twitter poll asking people about the prospects of creating such a site. As of the time of this writing, 126,000 people have voted, with 88% of them supporting the site.

Journalist Mark Harris discovered that one of Musk's employees had already registered a company called Pravda - and this happened back in October 2017.

Musk has recently criticized the media for reporting on problems at Tesla. He believes that journalists cover accidents involving his company's cars much more actively than in the case of other car companies. He has also criticized and called misinformation recent reports about industrial injuries at Tesla's factory and the company's conflict with the United Auto Workers Union.

Some journalists criticized Musk's statements, saying he was becoming like US President Donald Trump, who accuses the media of lying because of negative coverage. Musk responded by saying that people no longer trust journalists.
