
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko imposed sanctions against the Russian payment system of Webmoney and a number of Russian state media. In total, 756 legal entities and 1748 individuals were included in the sanctions lists. Poroshenko’s decree is published on the presidential website.
In addition to the ban on the use of the payment system and blocking its assets in Ukraine, the presidential decree prescribes to block access to all its Internet resources.
The restrictions are introduced against the following Russian media: VGTRK, Channel One, NTV, TNT, REN -TV, the National Media Group (owns 25 percent of the first channel, co -owner - oligarch Yuri Kovalchuk, who is called by the friend of Vladimir Putin), the television channel of the Zvezda Ministry of Defense, Petersburg television and radio companies (owned by the Federal Fifth Canal), MIA "Russia Today", RIA "Novosti - Ukraine" - a subsidiary of the Ukrainian news agency "Russia Today". The Ukrainian authorities are accused of the director of RIA Novosti - stolen "Kirill Vyshinsky in Gosizman, he was sent to a pre -trial detention center . The agency did not open its legal entity in Ukraine and worked without registration.
Access to the media sites, against which restrictions are introduced, is also ordered to block.
The sanctions list also lists a number of Russian banks, enterprises, companies and institutions in the annexed Crimea, pro -Russian public movements, as well as DPR structures. Among the latter - the "Central Bank of the DPR" and the units of the pro -Russian militants: the battalions "Zarya", "Ghost", "Oplot" and "Kalmius".
Among the individuals, against whom the sanctions were imposed, the head of the Russian Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin and the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller, the Russian oligarchs Oleg Deripaska, Igor Rotenberg, Vladimir Bogdanov, the chairman of the Bank of VTB Bank Andrei Kostin, a number of deputies of the State Duma and the Council of the Federation, militants of the DNR and LPR, militants Members of the authorities of the "republics", the Russian authorities in the annexed Crimea, who fled to Russia of the Ukrainian oligarch - the associate of the ex -president of the country Viktor Yanukovych Sergey Kurchenko, as well as the judge of the Moscow City Court Arthur Karpov - in 2015 he recognized the arrest of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko in 2015.
Restrictions against all legal entities are introduced for terms from one year to three years, sanctions against most individuals are unlimited.
On May 16 last year, Poroshenko imposed on previous Ukrainian sanctions. Then restrictive measures affected 1228 physical and 468 legal entities. The decree, among other things, provided for the blocking in Ukraine for three years of VKontakte social networks, the Internet services of Yandex and Mail.ru.
