"Buk" left Kursk

The Buk anti-aircraft missile system, which in 2014 in the sky above the Donbass was shot down by the Malaysian Boeing-777, belongs to the 53rd Russian Air Defense Brigade located near Kursk. This, as Reuters reports, announced an international investigative group that is investigating the crash. Investigators made this conclusion on the basis of photo and video from social networks. This group includes representatives of the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Malaysia and Ukraine.

The investigation group found out that this anti-aircraft missile system was taken out of the base on June 23, that is, almost a month before the tragedy. He was part of a convoy consisting of 50 units of military equipment, including six “bees”. Investigators restored the whole path of the convoy from Kursk. The distinguishing features of the “bean” belonging to the 53rd brigade, investigators established on numerous posts in social networks made by the inhabitants of the Old Oskol in the Belgorod region. Investigators made up the “fingerprints” of each missile and green complex-its individual characteristics (the technique is numbered with three-digit numbers, most begin with a deuce: that is, belongs to the second battalion of the 53rd brigade).

At the same time, investigators still cannot say who and why hit the liner. The representative of the group, the head of the Department of Investigations of the Netherlands Police Wilbert Paulissen noted that the collection of evidence of specific people who are directly and indirectly responsible for the launch of the Buk is ongoing. “There are many people who have this information,” said Paulissen, including among employees of the 53rd brigade, their relatives and acquaintances. The official called on people who have information to contact the investigative group, which guarantees the security of informants.

The disaster occurred on July 17, 2014. The Boeing 777 airline Malaysia Airlines has been performed by MH17 Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur. He collapsed to the ground in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. All 298 people were killed on board - 283 passengers and 15 crew members. The law enforcement agencies of Ukraine then said that the plane was shot down at an altitude of about 10 km. The separatists of the self -proclaimed DPR were accused of this. Even then, the Ukrainian side reported that they did this with the help of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, which was allegedly moved to the territory of the DPR from Russia. The version that the militias had previously captured the military unit, in the service of which were “beech”, also sounded. In turn, Moscow noted that such complexes were also in service with Ukraine, as well as put forward a version that Boeng shot down Ukrainian fighters.

In 2017, the Netherlandov security Coeter called the cause of the disaster hitting the Earth - Air missiles in the Liner, released from the Buk installation. However, there were no charges against specific persons. The report only noted that the rocket was released from the territory controlled by the "pro -Russian separatists."

After that, the Russian Ministry of Defense was not denied that Aviliner suffered from the Earth - Air missile, but they insisted that the Buk did not belong to the Russian military. They also denied the fact of launching a rocket from the territory of self -proclaimed DPR and LPR.

Back in 2015, a year after the start of the investigation, the records of negotiations between the separatists delivered the “Buk” to the destination point were published, as well as the route was established along which this installation was moved along the territories controlled by the DPR. “Buk” transported the Volvo brand, which the separatists captured at one of the enterprises in Donetsk, experts of the investigation group noted: around midnight on July 17, the tractor was in the area of ​​the village of Severny, then went towards Donetsk, and from there through Makeevka and Torez, along with the crew, was delivered to the snow.

But how exactly this “beech” fell into the territory of the DPR, the Dutch investigators could not establish for a long time and complained about the refusal of Moscow to cooperate with them. But a group of independent investigators Bellingcat made their own surveys about the RUSSIC delivery route. In June 2017, the report of this group was published, and it already stated that the gun was delivered from the 53rd brigade deployed near Kursk. The study was reinforced by numerous photographs from social networks. Based on other investigations, Bellingcat, the transportation of Buka was controlled by the retired Russian officer Sergei Dubinsky, mentioned in the media as the commander of the DPR intelligence with the call sign “Hmury”. He himself denied his involvement in the death of the liner.

The Ministry of Defense has a new report of the international group, like the previous ones, refuted . Russia, as reported in the military department, transferred to employees of the Netherlands law enforcement agencies all the data received from the Radar "Utes-T", which worked in the Rostov region on the accident day. The device, according to the Ministry of Defense, recorded “exhaustive evidence indicating the involvement in the collapse of the aircraft of Ukrainian calculations of the Buk air defense system. “Not a single anti-aircraft missile system of the Armed Forces of Russia has never crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border,” the ministry said.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the Dutch investigation used “only images from social networks subjected to skillful processing by computer editing with computer editing”, which “causes concern”. At the same time, the international investigative group “absolutely did not take into account” and rejected the “testimony of eyewitnesses from the catastrophes of Ukrainian settlements nearby to the area,” which, “testified to the launch of missiles from the territory controlled by Ukrainian armed forces,” the department of Sergei Shoigu said.
