FBK lawyer was detained leaving the office

Lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) Ivan Zhdanov was detained at the exit from the office. This is reported by Ekho Moskvy with reference to FBK lawyer Alexander Pomazuev.

Zhdanov was taken to the police department in the Tverskoy district. He is accused of repeated violation of the rules for holding the event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) in connection with the action “He is not our king”, which took place on May 5.

• On May 23, Alexei Navalny's press secretary, Kira Yarmysh, was arrested for 25 days, also under the article on repeated violation of the law on rallies (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

According to the police, she disseminated information about the uncoordinated action on May 5 on Twitter. However, these messages were written before the start of the approval procedure, that is, at the time they were written, the action was not yet unapproved.
