Politsyk Stanislav Zimovets, sentenced to two and a half years in the “March 26 case”, announced an indefinite hunger strike in support of Oleg Sentsov. This was reported by the "mediazone" by the lawyer of the Zimovsets Svetlana Sidorkina.

Zimovets began a hunger strike on May 28 in a penal colony of general regime No. 12 in the city of Volzhsky Volgograd region. Sentsov, sentenced to 20 years in a strict regime in the fabricated "Crimean terrorists' case, has been holding a hunger strike from May 14 in the colony of the Labytnangi polar city, demanding the liberation of all Ukrainian political zones in Russia. On May 23, the hunger strike of solidarity with Sentsov has been held by Ukrainian soldier Alexander Shumkov, abducted last year and imprisoned in the pre-trial detention center-1 in Bryansk on charges of participating in the "right sector".

On March 26, 2017, Zimovets, who came from Volgograd, was detained in Moscow at Tverskaya during an anti -corruption action. In July, the Tver court found him guilty under part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of violence to a representative of the authorities). According to the plot of the case, the Zimovets threw a piece of brick into the castle commander of the 2nd operational battalion of OMON, OMON, who fell into the buttock, in the buttock. The riot police did not submit a report in connection with the hit of the brick. Nevertheless, the next day after the action, he was called in the TFR to testify as a victim in the case.

At the investigation, Kotentov stated that a bruise had received a bruise from a blow. However, the examination refuted this - as it turned out, the riot police was injured in training in the gym.

In court, Zimovets did not plead guilty. “I am convinced that those who were on protests on March 26 and June 12 are the future of our country,” he said in the debate. “I am convinced that there is no place in our country. I would not want someone like Vova Putin to beat my children for corruption.”

The verdict was based on the initial confession, data from the political zoom at the investigation on the advice of the appointed lawyer Diana Tatosa.
