The staging of the murder of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko, carried out as part of a special operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, is an anti-Russian provocation, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.
The statement by the head of the SBU Vasyl Hrytsak that the alleged organizer of the murder was recruited by Russian special services was called by the MFA "the promotion of Russophobic lies." "The further actions of the SBU are clear. Naturally, they will continue to develop this provocation," the Russian Foreign Ministry asserts.
The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that by staging the murder of Babchenko, the Ukrainian authorities are trying to prove their effectiveness, without investigating the “real” murders of journalists Oles Buzina and Pavel Sheremet , as well as the case of those killed in the fire at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa .
We note that issues of life and death in Ukraine, as well as the international community’s trust in its policies, are nothing more than bargaining chips for the Kyiv regime, which is inciting anti-Russian hysteria.
