The bodies of Sergei Nigoyan and Mikhail Zhizhevsky with gunshot wounds were found on the barricades in the center of Kyiv on January 22 after the Berkut attack. And later information appeared: in a severe state of blood loss, about three liters were delivered to another wounded - Roman Senik: he was amputated by his hand, several operations were carried out, but the doctors failed to save his life - he died three days later.

During the opening from Nigoyan’s body, a lead buckshot was extracted, the Zhasevsky bullet pierced the run through, so it was not possible to find it, but the input and output with a diameter of more than a centimeter. The bullet is unambiguously unlike a bullet from a large -caliber sniper rifle with a caliber of 12.7 mm. Thus, for some time it was not clear who and how killed both activists, the witnesses of incidents were never found. This gave rise to a lot of rumors - from the Svypers of the Special to the provocation of the protesters themselves, supposedly killing people in order to inflate the situation.

Another detail: after that attack of the “Golden Eagle” on the 22nd on the metal rack, a cafe on Grushevsky Street was discovered a trace of a certain bullet. According to the configuration, it looked like a rubber bullet of a coil type, which is used by special forces, only less length, albeit the same caliber. The bullet flew from the positions that the police occupied.
When comparing these facts - the results of the autopsy of the dead and the trace of the projectile in the cafe - at first it seemed that the Berkut began to use hunting ammunition. After all, the trace on the rack perfectly coincided with the sub-caliber brass bullet of the coil type of 12 caliber, designed to hunt large animals and causing severe damage. But the conclusions turned out to be early.

Back in 2009, at the Armed Forces exhibition at the stand of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, special pretext bullets were demonstrated, capable of punching the 4th class of protection* or to make it easier to present to a person to an inexperienced, five-mm steel sheet. A bullet is all the same reel type of 12 caliber. Moreover, this is an important distinguishing detail - with a carbide core, a dark edge sticking out of the body of a bullet. Bullets were developed at the Research Institute of Special Technics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

And if the bullet that killed Mikhail Zhivsky could not be found, then she was extracted from the body of Roman Senik-the same reel, all the same 12-caliber. Due to the unsuccessful angle of shooting, it was first identified in two ways: either “Blondo bullet” (named after the Creator), or any of the other hunting bullets of the coil type: Rubeykin, Bublia, etc.
However, then a photo appeared from another angle, on which the same carbide core is clearly visible. That is, this is not a hunting, but already a combat bullet, moreover, a special purpose ammunition.
The New Times correspondent contacted the person who published these photos on the network (the source asked not to name his name, as well as the name of the author of the photographs), and he confirmed: the author of the pictures - the medical team of the operating brigade, trying to save the novel and extracted a bullet from his body. Moreover, the bullet was photographed immediately after the operation, right on the manipulation table of the nurse.

There is a photograph of a similar bullet on the network, selected on January 22 on Grushevsky Street after the Berkut attack. Moreover, there is every reason to say: the trace on the cafe rack is left by this bullet. Not “the same” - namely this. Damage is given on both the pool itself and on the cafe rack. The bullet hit at an angle of forty -five degrees by the head of the head part - which is why the head part is most flattened, for the same reason and the trace on the rack has a trapezoidal shape - and then with the entire body and tail plumage.
As you can see, we are talking about the type of ammunition, demonstrated at the arms exhibition at the Ministry of Internal Affairs stand almost five years ago. He flew to the cafe from the side with which he walked - and shot - “Golden Eagle”. In a word, there is no doubt: the bullet that hit the cafe’s rack is similar to a pool extracted from the body of Roman Senik.
Trajectory issues
Soon after the death of Nigoyan, rumors were going on that Sergey was killed at the moment when he and several more people from among the Maidanites had tumbled to the land of the policeman and began to beat him. And, they say, then the colleague of the policeman was not at a loss, charged a gun (presumably smooth-bore pump-out “Fort-500” of Ukrainian-made) with a cartridge with lead buckshot and fired.
The version, although believable, but perhaps untenable. The fact is that in the body of Sergei Nigoyan there are four injuries: three - in the chest in front and one - in the head. A person who beats another person lying in front of him should stand either a little bent (if he hits him with his hands or stick), or his head slightly bending a little (if he hits him with his feet). And in any case, his head should be addressed to the beaten - this is clear as twice two. But the wound in Nigoyan’s head indicates that he either beat a man, almost completely turning away from him (after all, it was unlikely), or did not beat at all, but simply stood (or walked), turning his head to the left, almost turning back. Most likely, the shot was made at the moment when Nigoyan was at rest, and fired at him in front and a little on the right.
The second deceased, Mikhail Zhizhevsky, was shot into the chest, almost in front - but the bullet came out of the back below the entrance line. Finally, the bullet extracted from the body of Roman Senik also entered his shoulder at an angle - on top of the right and a little in front, crushed her hand and got stuck in the lung.
It turns out that in at least two cases out of three were shot from above.

Nigoyan’s body was found in the lowland, closer to the Dynamo stadium, that is, the Golden Eagle was at the top and a little to the right-from there the buckshot flew. Otherwise, the wound to the head could not form.

Letter from the "former"
The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Zakharchenko, regarding the nature of the wounds of Nigoyan, said that those, they say, were caused by hunting ammunition, and they are not in service with the police. The minister is cunning.
Ammunition, special equipment and in general any ammunition can be acquired by power structures only if they are laid in the so -called “standards of appropriation”, that is, in the philistine language, are allowed for use. Their purchase is rigidly regulated: the ammunition not consisting in the standards of positions are purchased in principle.
Special means for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine produce two enterprises. The first is the Ecologist NPP, which produces products under the Teren brand, the same tears of Teren-6, which, thanks to the events on Grushevsky, has now become known to the whole world, as well as the plastisole bullets of Teren-12, etc. The second enterprise is the already mentioned special equipment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In Kyiv, a person with a letter from a former employee of this Research Institute of Special Technology came to the correspondent of The New Times. Here is its content:
“Mr. Babchenko. Here is my report on bullets (Senik. - A.B. ) and Kartuchi (Nigoyan. - A.B. ). I clarified: the Ministry of Internal Affairs purchased cartridges of the 12th caliber for Fort 500 with lead buckshot and bullet (there were no brass, I clarified). But this is information on the period several years ago. So, they are in the norms. I don't know the manufacturer of cartridges. It can be Tahoe, as, indeed, another manufacturer. For tenders held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main thing is the minimum price.
I would like to clarify, in the cartridge, the photo of which you sent me (in the pool. - A.B. ), core, fat, lead or steel? ”
But the author’s assessment of the letter from the bullet in the wall of the cafe on Grushevsky: “Yes, very similar.”
But the most interesting thing is about bullets from an exhibition of special equipment of the 2009 Ministry of Internal Affairs:
“The information is true. Special equipment in 2006-2007 really carried out the development of cartridges with such bullets. It was not for nothing that I asked about the material of the core. These cartridges were intended for a forced car stop by damaging the engine ... The development initiator is one of the institute employees. He retired in 2007. It was not even the OCD (experimental work), which should end with the experimental party and, as a rule, by putting on service, and research (research work), which ends with the report. In this case, the manufacture of an experimental batch is possible. A certain amount was made and shot in tests. The work, as far as I know, was carried out at a artisanal level, in fact, one or two loners-stagners. Whether the Berkutians participated in the tests at one time - I do not know. In my hands I did not hold these cartridges, so I don’t know whether these cartridges are similar to the current or not. But they were not put into service in any case ... Those somewhat experienced cartridges were made in private and a very long time ago. ”
We draw conclusions: in the standards of the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, at least there is lead buckshot and lead bullets of the 12th caliber, and the NII of special equipment developed bullets with a carbide core, the experimental batch of which was probably in the Special Ministry of Internal Affairs for shooting and testing. It is this experimental party that is now found on Kyiv streets and in the bodies of the protesters.
Five times - not an accident
Was there an official order for the use of combat cartridges for people? It is unlikely. This is illogical and inappropriate.
Is it possible that the fire was conducted by these ammunition by accident, by mistake? The version of the special forces that came in mistake to employees of special forces at first could not withstand criticism, but now, it turns out - yes, this is possible. In any case, the circumstances of the death of Sergei Nigoyan indicate that the fighter of the special forces, who shot at a calmly standing or slowly walking person, perhaps did not really know that his weapons were charged with combat.
But to confirm this version, it is necessary that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, firstly, recognizes the existence of these same cartridges, as well as the presence in the norms of the position of cartridges with lead buckshot, and secondly, conducted its own investigation. Because you can’t understand that you shoot combat cartridges instead of rubber and that you are not just causing pain (without losing consciousness), but kill a person, you can only once. Well, two. But a five -time accident is no longer so obvious. Namely, there are so many confirmed cases of using these bullets at the moment: three dead, one bullet in the rack and two more are extracted from the skeletons of burnt buses on barricades. So the version about the excess of the performer from the Berkut should also not be written off.
Whether the lethal ammunition in Kyiv was used in negligence or intentionally - in any case, one thing is clear: Sergey Nigoyan, Mikhail Zhizhevsky and Roman Senik died from the combat bullets of special -owned, released by the Berrokut fighters. Evidence is no longer required.
