The organizers of the assassination attempt on the Russian relevant emigrant Arkady Babchenko planned to kill 47 more people, the General Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
According to Lutsenko, as a result of a staging of the murder of a journalist, the investigation received a list of possible victims of future attempts. “Mostly these are famous Ukrainian and ex -Russian journalists,” the official wrote. “Today they were informed about the danger, their protection is organized.”
The host of the Echo of Moscow emigrated to Ukraine, Matvey Ganapolsky, said that he himself and television journalist Yevgeny Kiselev appear on this list. According to Ganapolsky, on Friday all the defendants in the liquidation list were invited to the SBU.
On the air of the Direct TV channel, Ganapolsky and Kiselev said that at a meeting with Ukrainian law enforcement officers, journalists were warned of a possible danger to them in the future. Subscriptions of non -disclosure were taken from its participants. According to Ganapolsky, the lists of the liquidation list showed the materials of the case, which indicate that "there really was a serious story with the money paid for the murder of Babchenko."
"The detention of G. (the alleged organizer of the assassination attempts of Boris German. - Ed.) Would not reduce the threat to all these people. The murder imitation made it possible to get additional information about the list and about the customer," the Prosecutor General emphasizes.
According to Lutsenko, Herman, after ordering an assassination attempt on Babchenko, told the Crime Contractor - the ATO veteran, the former priest Alexei Tsymbalyuk - that two more people need to be killed. At the same time, he told Tsymbalyuk that there is a list of more than 30 people who want to eliminate the Russian special services. According to investigators, Herman received 40 thousand dollars from the customer for the murder of Babchenko.
On the eve of the trial regarding Herman’s arrest, he stated that the attempt on Babchenko needed to gain the confidence of the customer from whom he received a liquidation list.
Herman called the customer of the attempt by an employee of the Putin Private Fund, which lives in the Russian citizen of Ukraine Vyacheslav Pivovarik. The alleged customer led LLC Ruskon-Ukraine LLC, ex-deputy of the State Duma Sergey Shishkarev, whom the media is called a friend of the General Director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin. The co -founder of another company of the brewery was Sergey Deev, an expert at the Russian National and International Security Fund. This fund was headed by the late Soviet specialist general Leonid Shershnev, he also founded the Russian Foundation and the Center for Assistance to Compatriots from New Russia and Ukraine.
The suspect claims that he acted on the instructions of the Knubnskaya counterintelligence, which instructed him to study the cash flows sent from Russia to Ukraine to finance politicians and “terrorist groups”.
The prosecutor's office denies that Herman worked with the SBU.
Earlier, Lutsenko stated that he knew three names from the liquidation list: in addition to Babchenko, this is “one of the Odessa pro -Ukrainian activists” and a former FSB officer located in Ukraine. German lawyer Yevgeny Solodko claims that Tsymbalyuk himself offered Herman to “bang” the ex-employee of the FSB, the veteran of the ATO Ilya Bogdanov and the former participant in the Odessa “self-defense of Maidan” Todora Panovsky.
The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv sent Herman to a pre -trial detention center for two months. He is charged with part 1 of Article 14, part 5 of Article 27 - Part 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (complicity in preparation for committing a terrorist attack that could lead to human death). The arrested faces 10 to 15 years in a colony or a lifelong opinion.
The 50-year-old German is the Executive Director of the joint Ukrainian-German arms enterprise "Shmaiser", which collaborates with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. He was an assistant to deputies in the Verkhovna Rada of the 5th and 6th convocations: in 2006-2007, he was an assistant on a public basis of the deputy from the Socialist Party of Ukraine Mikhail Goncharov, and from 2007 to 2012 he worked with a deputy from the Party of Regions Igor Black. Solodko’s lawyer claimed that in the last six months the SBU spent searches in Herman’s apartment and at his weapons factory, after which the entrepreneur paid 70 thousand dollars as a bribe.
On Tuesday evening, the media reported the murder of Babchenko. The next day it turned out that the attempt was a staging of the SBU.
