The Moscow City Hall agreed on a rally against the arbitrariness of the security forces, scheduled for June 10. This was reported by Interfax with reference to one of the organizers of the action, the leader of the Lev Ponomarev Law Movement for Human Rights.

In addition to the rally, Ponomarev noted, the organizers intended to conduct a procession along the Boulevard Ring. However, officials refused to coordinate the procession.

The rally will be held on Sakharov Avenue from 13 to 15 hours. The start of the collection of participants is at 12 o’clock. The coordinated number is 10 thousand people.

With the idea of ​​a rally, Ponomarev said, human rights activists spoke. They were supported by Yabloko, Parnassus and Civil Initiative. In addition to Ponomarev, the official organizers were the functionary Parnassus Mikhail Schneider and the former State Duma deputy from "Fair Russia" Gennady Gudkov. Among the members of the organizing committee are the co -chair of the Civil Initiative Ksenia Sobchak, the publisher, former leader of the Civil Platform, Irina Prokhorova, writers Vladimir Voinovich and Lyudmila Ulitskaya.

Promotion requirements - termination of the arbitrariness of power structures. In particular, Ponomarev explained, this refers to the persecution of the opponents of the Kremlin, the mass detention of activists, as well as the “wide interpretation” of the concept of “extremism” and the initiation of criminal cases for reposts on the Internet.

“The lower extremism of power structures is extremely dangerous for society. We must stop it,” the SPF leader emphasized.
