Trump condemned Lavrov's meeting with Kim Jong -un

US President Donald Trump said that he did not like the meeting of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong -un. This was announced on Friday night by the CBS News television channel.

"I did not like yesterday's Russian meeting. I asked: what was her goal? But she could be positive," the president said.

On May 31, Kim Jong -un received Lavrov in Pyongyang. According to the results of the meeting, Lavrov called on the participants in negotiations on the Nuclear disarmament of the DPRK not to try to "artificially adjust" the process of denuclearization.

Meanwhile, Washington continues negotiations with Pyongyang as part of the preparation of Trump's meeting with Kim Jong -un, which should take place on June 12 in Singapore. On the eve of Trump met with the deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Korea Labor Party Kim Yong Chol. After the meeting, the president said that negotiations with the North Korean representative were a "good beginning." Trump expressed confidence that his interlocutor wishes denuclearization.
