Google will not renew the contract with the US Department of Defense, which has become a reason for dissatisfaction and dismissal of employees. According to Gizmodo, the head of cloud services at the company Diane Green announced this at a meeting with employees.
Greene also said that Google will unveil new AI ethical guidelines next week, according to Gizmodo sources.
The contract expires in 2019 and will not be renewed, Green said.
