In a year, the humanities will be produced, which should be prepared for the literature exam, and therefore I wanted to test the exam on myself, look from the inside - whether the recommendations that we give to the children work. Understand in practice: how to distribute time, write a draft, is it easy to remember the necessary texts, how to get out of difficult situations.
She herself arranged stress herself: she rushed after a working day, did not prepare, did not get enough sleep, did not appreciate how much time it was necessary to go from the metro, got lost, fled, late, forgot in her bag handed over to the storage room, pills from her head and the whole exam was suffered by migraine. I was glad that I took two pens with me: the first signed two hours later.
The exam in literature consists of a short test part and five works - four small and one large. You need to write them in 3 hours 55 minutes. It is necessary to scribble rapidly and legibly. So I earned a scribble spasm in an hour. For time, you need to monitor constantly, keep a schedule in your head and not get out of it. Yes, you can’t leave a large essay in the end: do not have time - more than real, and losing 15 primary points is to lose a year.
I can’t write without drafts without drafts: I correct it a lot - so this advice does not work for students. Correcting a large essay on the cleanliness, I forgot to insert a paragraph into the right place. I inserted where she could and said goodbye to the score for the composition: at first, there is no time to rewrite at first.
In one of the tasks, it was necessary to recall poems about the Russian village. Alas, this is not my horse. I had to recall, pull something by the ears, tie it more. But the most insidious theme was the topic of a great essay: Pushkin’s lyrics about nature. On the one hand-here it is certainly a whole warehouse in my head, but everything lies randomly, even the Onegin fragments are not sorted from the lyrics, but it is also necessary to build a concept. But I was sure that I managed and opened the topic.
The result hit the pride: 34 primary points, on the scale of last year - this is 71 test score. With this result, I would not have taken me to any decent phylaf or journalism (about the happiness that I am already a certified philologist and existing journalist).
I hung scans of work on Facebook. Colleagues immediately found my problem with the composition, and besides it, four speech errors: two unnoticed repetitions and a couple of metaphors (for example, “twisting in the fabric of the poem”) - they seemed to one colleagues speech errors, and the other - terminological ones. But the main thing - I was mistaken in quoting textbook lines that I remember from the first grade, as it turned out, inaccurately. “A transparent forest is one blackened” - “one”, and not “in the distance”. And the moon is like a pale spot - through the clouds of the gloomy "yellow", and did not "look" at all, and there is no personification. But this still did not explain 34 points. And I filed an appeal.
And there I added five primary points.
And 39 primary points are not 71, but even 87 tests. And with these points you can already think at least about extra -budget. Because for the budget you must first eradicate the habit of expressively.
So I had to make adjustments to the training plan of schoolchildren: to teach to understand the criteria for verification and meet them; strictly structure works; learn simple terms in deliberately complicated definitions; to understand the vague formulations of tasks (“In what works of Russian literature is the theme of spiritual transformation of the world is raised?”); Learn a lot by heart; Train the habit of writing dryly and academic; Metaphors and complex structures are insurance from speech errors. All this has a small relationship with literature - but it is precisely on this that talented philological children properly pour, even if they have already become prize -winners of the Olympiads. I have repeatedly heard from respected colleagues that an ordinary examination score for such a gifted child is about 70.
The more humanize the subject, the more difficult it is to formalize the criteria of the check, the more subjective it is, the higher the inspectors of the desire to overcome (my scatter in 16 test points in two inspectors is the certificate). Actually, the formalization of criteria is an attempt to achieve objectivity, but the more the criteria are formalized, the less the exam has a literature and the more-to get into someone an invented format.
Now only 5 percent of graduates are being given literature, but the Minister of Education Olga Vasilieva, when he was his Minister of Education, expressed the idea several times: it would be nice to make the exam in literature mandatory. I really hope that this idea will not take possession of the masses. Because the literature at school will certainly come to the school. We stop reading and we will train endlessly: to remember the works where the heroes sing, look at the stars, and get married; Where we are talking about friendship, homeland, poetry - and to cram the quotes. We will look for visual and expressive means in the texts and recall what “a technique of figurative correlation of objects and phenomena” or “a method based on the contrast of a real and imaginary world” is.
Understand more - why all this.
