The alleged militant was killed in a forest near the village of Kvanada. A counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced. According to the NAC, the victim refused to lay down his arms and fired at the FSB officers. The NAC released a video of the operation.
Weapons and ammunition were found at the scene of the shootout. There are no casualties among the security forces and the civilian population.
