NAK: The leader of a militant group was killed in Dagestan

The alleged militant was killed in a forest near the village of Kvanada. A counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced. According to the NAC, the victim refused to lay down his arms and fired at the FSB officers. The NAC released a video of the operation.

Weapons and ammunition were found at the scene of the shootout. There are no casualties among the security forces and the civilian population.

On April 21, the security forces reported on the murder of 9 members of the armed underground in the Dagestan Derbent. It was alleged that four militants were driving through the city in a VAZ-2106 car and were killed during the chase, another group of underground members barricaded themselves in a private house - all of its members were shot dead during the assault. The shootout took place in the forest belt between the villages of Chinar and Gedzhukh.
