The video blogger Sobolev is beaten in St. Petersburg

At the video blogger from St. Petersburg Nikolai Sobolev, an attack was made. “Last night, and to be precise - tonight I was attacked next to the studio where I shoot the videos,” he wrote on his VK page.

According to Sobolev, he received a closed head injury and a concussion of a slight degree. Now Sobolev is in the hospital. He was promised to go home.

Sobolev did not specify whether he knew the attackers, noting only that "now to describe the details of time and desire."

A video of the attack appeared on the Internet. Beating occurs in a dark room: the blogger closes his head with his hands, and two young people beat him on the face and pushes him to the wall and doors with the words "why are you pussy? The description of one of the copies of the video says that the attack occurred in the entrance of the St. Petersburg photo studio Adini.

A 24-year-old video blogger releases on the current news and events of Runet on the YouTube channel SOBOLEV. He gained wide fame in the winter of 2017 due to the fact that he actively commented on the case of the rape of 16-year-old Diana Shurygina. On March 9, 2017, Sobolev, together with other popular video bloggers, met with the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky.

On July 17, 2017, Sobolev and 8 more popular video bloggers made a video message in defense of the video blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, convicted from articles on extremism and insulting the feelings of believers. They demanded to stop repressions on the "extremist" article of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code.
