Blocks for Rybabage will reach the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the ECHR
The Internet resources whose pages were blocked as a security measure to the claim of businessman Oleg Deripaska against the video bloggers Anastasia Vyukevich and Alexander Kirillov re-appealed to the court with the intention of challenging the previously adopted decision.
Representatives of the Znak.com publication sent documents to the Presidium of the Krasnodar Regional Court to challenge the previously adopted decision to block Internet pages with information, because of which businessman Oleg Deripaska filed a lawsuit for Anastasia Vashukevich and Alexander Kirillov. This was reported by lawyer Evgeny Vershinina.
The complaint, as expected, will be considered up to two months. At the same time, Vershinina said that if the Presidium does not cancel the previously adopted decisions, lawyers plan to apply to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the European Court of Human Rights. The court specified that the documents have not yet been received.
The representative of the founder of Mediazona, Alexander Popkov, said that so far the complaint from this side has not been sent, since previously requested documents from the court have not come. The representative of Navalny Vyacheslav Himadi intended to appeal the decision of the Krasnodar Regional Court.
The lawsuit of businessman Oleg Deripaska against Anastasia Vyukevich (Nastya Rybka) and Alexander Kirillov (Alex Lesli) was filed on February 9. Less than a day later, at the request of the plaintiff, the court blocked access to the personal data of Deripaska until the dispute resolution, as a result of which Roskomnadzor sent the order to remove the prohibited information at once. The court sessions were supposed to begin in early March in Ust-Labinsk. However, the court suffered an indefinite time preparation for the consideration of the businessman’s claim due to the fact that the court received complaints from resources whose pages contained the reason for filing the claim and were blocked.
After the lawsuit was filed, a page with an investigation was blocked on the Navalny website, which is dedicated to Deripaska and Deputy Prime Minister-the head of the apparatus of the Government of the Russian Federation Sergey Prikhodko, as well as the corresponding video on YouTube. They are included in the register of pages containing information prohibited. Both Deripaska and Prikhodko called the information set forth in the Blog investigation that was not true. But despite the efforts of the businessman to block resources with the information that compromise him, the story received the so -called “Streisand effect” and diverged over the network into a large number of reprisals and reposts unlocked.
