The press service of Fair Russia told TASS to the TASS agency that there were “active consultations with potential candidates and the centers of influence of local elites” in the region. Their result was the decision to nominate the deputy of the Legislative Assembly, the leader of the regeneration of the Socialist Revolutionaries Anatoly Kubanov.
Kubanov confirmed the taiga.info decision and noted that the campaign will be built on the "pure and honest principles of the struggle for social justice." The passage of the municipal filter will not be a problem for just Russia, Kubanov said, since the party did not snort to participate even in the most minimal elections, and accumulated a large number of supporters.
“Our party conducted for several months very active consultations with residents and public organizations,” said Kubanov Taiga.info.
“And we came to the conclusion that the participation of“ SR ”in these elections is justified. The campaign will be built on honest and pure principles of struggle for social justice. We are not the parties-one-day parties that appear “under the elections”, everything is transparent with us. We are focusing on social policy, our main task to form budgets of all levels in order to protect the interests of the local producer. And the municipal filter is not a problem for us. “Fair Russia” never suffered from political snobbery. We never shied to participate in all even minimal elections. Today, we have more than 200 party members are municipal deputies, and more than 300 deputies in rural areas have been elected with our support. We have no doubt that for us this is a solid task. ”
Anatoly Kubanov was born in 1972. He has been heading the regional branch of the party since the end of 2010. Prior to that, he was a deputy of the Novosibirsk City Council from the LDPR, led the information and analytical center under the governor Viktor Tolokonsky. Since 2005, he has been elected to the regional council. In 2014, he participated from the “SR” in the elections of the mayor of Novosibirsk (2.19%) and the governor (13.49%).
