Navalny headquarters coordinator in St. Petersburg was arrested for 25 days

The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested for 25 days the coordinator of the regional headquarters of Navalny Denis Mikhailov. This was announced by the ATS-Info Activist by the detainees group Alexander Mironov.

Mikhailov drew up a protocol under part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event) for the action “He is not a king” on May 5. The judge considered the arguments of the police reasonable, rejecting the defense of the meeting, the appointment of an examination of the video contained in the case, on the transfer of the case on territorial jurisdiction to the Volzhsky District Court and the calls as witnesses of police officers. The judge was in the deliberation room for about four hours.
