The Kirovsky District Court of the Yaroslavl Region fined the deputy of the regional Duma Alexander Vorobyov under the article on organizing an uncoordinated event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The fine amounted to 20 thousand rubles. This is reported by "Kommersant" with reference to the press service of the court.
The reason for the administrative case was the single pickets that took place on April 5 near the building of the government of the Yaroslavl region. The participants of the action expressed their protest against the import of garbage from Moscow. The police and the court considered Vorobyov to be the organizer of the pickets.
This is Vorobyov's second administrative fine for picketing against garbage imports. On May 10, the Kirov Court fined him 10,000 rubles for organizing an uncoordinated rally that took place on April 18.
On May 12, police in Yaroslavl detained five participants in a rally against the import of Moscow garbage.
