Pushkin Ball in the Siberian village

The village of Mogochino is located 250 kilometers north of Tomsk. The distance by Siberian standards is small, only in the spring and autumn, when crossings are closed at the Ob, the inhabitants of the village are cut off from the large land. Mogochins have long been accustomed to such a life: before the start of the ice drift, they bought everything necessary, primarily products and medicines in advance. But there is a tradition in this village, which is respected in any weather - on the eve of the poet’s birthday in Mogochino, the Pushkin ball is invariably held.

In 1926, a forestry plant was built here, and Mogochino from a fishing village turned into an industrial village with a population of several thousand people, mostly special migrants. In 1937, by the centenary of the death of Pushkin, the Mogochinsky school "For great successes in the educational and educational sphere" was assigned the name of the poet. In 1972, the Pushkin Museum opened at the school, which was often written about in the Soviet press.

Among the exhibits of the museum are books donated by Andrei Radishchev, a descendant of the author of "Travel from St. Petersburg to Moscow", Pushkin’s publication with an autograph of the illustrator - People's Artist of the USSR Dementia Shmarinov. A friend of Mogochinsky Pushkinists was the creator and first keeper of the museum-reserve in Mikhailovsky Semen Gamichenko. He sent photographs and albums to Siberia, gave the addresses of Pushkin museums and scientists involved in the study of the poet’s work. At the invitation of Geychenko, schoolchildren from Mogchina went on an excursion to Mikhailovskoye.

- We know about the museum! But what about! And proud. After all, there is even Pushkin’s posthumous mask, ”says local resident Stepan Rosanbach . - I graduated from the school in 2002, I still remember how they drove us there. The guests at that time in Mogochino came from abroad. From Germany were from somewhere else. We watched the exhibits, admired.

-Do you have your favorite lines from some Pushkin poem?

Did Pushkin have something about the swamp? No? Well, then definitely not up to poems

- Not to poems. Poems read when the soul sings. And I recently resigned from the watch, again stood on the work exchange. There is no work, they don’t pay anything. While you get from Mogochino to Tomsk, then while you return, there is no longer any money left. With a private trader, only one way 550 rubles comes out, a ferry on a ferry is 150 rubles. So I will plant a garden ... If only the water leaves. See what a swamp! We have a dam around the village renovated, and for some reason the water after that still goes and goes! Did Pushkin have something about the swamp? No? Well, then definitely not to poetry.

Nevertheless, this year more than 130 people gathered for the traditional Pushkin ball in Mogochino. Almost all are schoolchildren from neighboring villages and villages. Locals believe that this is a little, since the year is not an anniversary.

- We are invited to speak to the Pushkin ball for the second year in a row to create an atmosphere of Pushkin times for guests! - says the artistic director of the local brass band Alexei Raskulin . - Last year, we played everything that we knew, but in advance prepared in advance: we learned the waltz. True, the repertoire had to repeat several times: because of the ferry, the guests came at different times and the whole process dragged on. Well, the weather disappeared ... They performed on the street, and the girls in open dresses were cold. But all well done - no one complained.

Alexey boasts: at present, 14 people are already playing in his orchestra, and he selected all (read: persuaded) - personally!

- He talked with local youth, tried to interest them with music, performances. I have three higher education, in Mogochino I work as a chemistry teacher, a teacher at a music school, as well as an employee of a local club. In total, I get a little more than 30 thousand a month. This is with the northern and district allowances. By our standards - good money. You could even put off, but I buy musical instruments. So far, only Chinese saxophones are enough. They cost only 20 thousand. But still better than nothing, ”says Alexei.

Ivan Khmara - also a musician of the wind orchestra - bought a used tube worth 15 thousand rubles. And he could buy a cow that costs the same money. In a large family of Ivan, where he is the eldest of six children, the cow would have been more delighted. But Ivan says that his parents did not scold him, even praised him for reaching for culture.

- In the club, salary is 20 thousand. Therefore, the tool was looking for a used one, watched ads. We often go to perform in the villages and other areas, so the tube should sound good, otherwise it is a shame to go out to the audience. And we have concerts often: two times, or even four per week.

In addition to playing in the orchestra, Ivan sings. The records of his speeches, shot by fellow villagers on mobile phones, became hits of local forums and are replicated in social networks with the Super Voice! "," This is incredible! ".

- Do you plan to go to Moscow? Trying your luck in the show "Voice"?

- Where did the money come from? When I served in the army, I was offered to stay in Vladivostok, and they called to other cities, but I said that I would return to Siberia, I would glorify my village. So I glorify! Do you know how the audience thanked us after the Pushkin Ball? And after all other performances, they thank. And this is the best reward. I am a native of Mogochino. Although he studied not at a rural school, but at a school at a monastery, he still went to the Pushkin Museum. Therefore, when they asked to speak, he immediately agreed.

-Can you remember anything from Alexander Sergeyevich?

- The Lukomorye has green oak. Golden chain on oak tom. And day and night, the scientist’s cat walks around the chain around ... I remembered this because now there are only scientists around the cats who know more than others about everything.

This year, information about the Alexander Pushkin Museum will be included in the Encyclopedia "Literary Museums of Russia". A large article was written by the head of the museum for this publication, Nina Teoshchakova.

- We do everything with our money. Here again we spent the ball. This is a tradition, it cannot be violated. Although the costumes are old, sewn in the last century. I could not stand it, I bought the fabric at my own expense, now at least we’ll get off the shirts. Maybe then the expenses will be accepted, ”says Nina Techiskova . - A few years ago, the grant won the museum. We received about thirty thousand and immediately bought new chairs - it was a shame to plant old guests. And no longer enough.

Grants are the only source of financing. The entrance to the museum is free. Firstly, the Mogochins do not have money for campaigns in the museum, and most importantly-this is another tradition laid down by the founder of the local "Pushkin House", Lydia Ponomareva.

“The exposition is regularly replenished at the expense of gifts,” says Nina Techiskova , “schoolchildren bring their crafts. And my nephew, which is often in China, bought a book for Pushkin in Chinese for us. And just yesterday, after the ball, I received a letter from the neighboring village of Molchanovo. We were sent a whole selection of illustrations and photos on Pushkin. So the museum lives, just like Pushkin’s poetry! Many lines of the poet can be attributed to our time, but the most correct, in my opinion, those written on the wall in our assembly hall: "My friend, the Fatherland will devote beautiful impulses to the soul." Pushkin was a patriot, and we too. And now you are watching the TV-and it becomes scary: then America is attacking Russia, then Ukraine has conceived something there.

However, Ukraine is far away, and the Ob River is nearby. And the problem of spring flood for the village is much more relevant than the machinations of the West. The head of the Mogochinsky rural settlement Alla Detlukova says that there is no money to support the museum in the local budget. In the summer, you need to grad the dam and try to fall asleep on the roads on the roads.

- In addition, it is necessary to fulfill the May decrees of the president, who ordered everyone to raise the salary. And from what means to raise it? If you make a salary at least a little more, then the rest will not remain. The boiler is not bottomless. And the museum - yes ... He is our pride ... We helped them when there was an opportunity. And as soon as she appears again, we will still help. But not now.
