• Kira Muratova was born in 1934, graduated from VGIK.
• The fame was brought to her by the films “Short Meetings” (1967) and “Long Swey” (1971).
• Muratova’s painting “Asthenic Syndrome” received a special prize of the jury of the Berlin Film Festival in 1990. The film "The Supporter" was shown at the festival in Venice.
• The recent works of the director were the drama “Melody for a barrel organ” (2009) and “Eternal Return” (2012).
