After a mass of comments in the FB and VK with the involvement of the designer, I decided to monitor the newly open square a little more seriously. For an objective picture, today I did this with Alexander Popov, the head of the Available Environmental Education Center. Sasha is a wheelchair user, he himself knows not by hearing about the problems of an affordable environment and is engaged in the design of objects convenient for disabled people for several years.
The post is not repeated to the said yesterday, the thesis to the thesis of what I saw today in the light of the day.
1. The fountain earned. He is beautiful! In combination with music, it creates a magnificent atmosphere. Just super!
2. Absolutely all corners of the area are really interconnected by inclined paths for stroller. The whole trick is that there are no familiar ramps, and the staircase for everyone, and the descent for those who go parallel to each other and for the first time at the stairs cannot immediately figure out where is the ramp. Confirmation of this was a conversation with a grandmother who walked here with a grandson, who was outraged by the lack of ramps.
3. If the area inside is connected by gentle slopes, then getting on it can be difficult. Only the entrance for a car near the temple is a gentle, there is no convenient slope for parking. There is a semblance of a congress to the transition on the corner of theatrical and October 25, but it is still too high for the stroller. Moreover, on the other side of the road, the transition rests against a high border.
4. They also did not think about the visually impaired, the first step is not indicated by the color of the tiles or tactile. We hope that this is an absurd mistake, and not intentional stupidity.
5. So far there is not a single urn. I do not justify the beating, but banks from Cola and bags from chips are already lying everywhere.
6. And the main jamb, which I already talked about yesterday, is the quality of work. Around the fountain, despite the equipped plums, on the tile of puddles. This means that the tile is incorrect. In the fall, puddles will freeze, water will fill the gaps, lead the tile, it will begin to collapse in the spring, and after a couple of years it will be a pit. There should not be a puddle on the correctly laid tile.
But in general, I repeat, despite all the jambs, Sovetskaya Square is a new high -quality level of city improvement. And I hope that taking this bar, the municipality will not lower it. And it is not too late to fix the mistakes made.
