The Matveyevo-Kurgansky District Court in the Rostov Region extended for one month the arrest of Alexander Averin, co-chairman of the Other Russia party, accused of attempted arms smuggling. This is written on the page of the party in Vkontakte.

Averin was charged with Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons) and combined it with Article 226 of the Criminal Code (smuggling of firearms), the post says.
One of the evidence of Averin's guilt is the fingerprint of his left hand, allegedly taken from a pistol. In the case file, they write in the group, there is no comparison of this print with the print of Averin. As stated in the publication, it is not correctly indicated where the print was taken from.
