The starving director Oleg Sentsov, serving the deadline in the colony, was transferred to a medical part

The starving Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov was transferred to the medical unit “White Bear” in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. He told this in a letter to the human rights activist Tatyana Schur, which shepublished on Facebook.

According to Sentsov, he was provided with a separate chamber in medical part. He notes that he regularly passes tests and undergoes examinations, in addition, he is put up by droppers.

On May 16, Sentsov announced an unlimited hunger strike - he demands to free 64 Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia. After that, as a sign of solidarity with the director and his requirements, the Ukrainian military Alexander Shumkov , who was accused of participating in the “right sector”, and the defendant in “Case of March 26”, Stanislav Zimovets , announced the hunger strike.

The hunger strike, with the demand to free Sentsov, was announced by Anti -Fascist Alexander Kolchenko, convicted with him in the case of the Crimean Terrorists. However, on June 7, Kolchneko stopped a hunger strike, reaching 54 kilograms of weight with a height of 190 centimeters.

• On August 25, 2015, Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko, who lived in Crimea, were sentenced , respectively, to 20 and 10 years in a maximum security colony. According to the investigation, they set fire to the doors of the United Russia office in Crimea, and also prepared for terrorist acts and participated in the illegal circulation of explosives.

• A number of human rights organizations are considered by Sentsov and Kolchenko by political prisoners, indicating the fact that the investigation was carried out with serious violations, and most of the evidence that formed the basis of the sentence was received by Russian security forces with the help of torture.
