In Togliatti on June 7, Vyacheslav Shepelev was a search of the former leader of the Hammer Trade Union. He himself told about this on the page on the Classmates social networks.
Law enforcement officers told the activist that the search was held as part of the case of inciting ethnic rake (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), which was excited against Shepelev. The activist believes that the cause of the initiation of the case could be a post on the social network in which he used the word “Jew”. Shepelev notes that in this post he did not insult the Jews in any way.
On June 7, the activist’s car was stopped by National Academy of Sciences and Major of the Center for Combating Extremism. They did not introduce themselves, put Shepelev in a civilian car and took a search. During the search, law enforcement officers seized the activist’s laptop, tablet, memory cards and flash drives, as well as business cards of the Hammer Trade Union and trade union certificates. In addition, they found stickers in the apartment with the inscription "11/05/17 we are not waiting, but we are preparing." Employees shot their actions on the video so that, as they themselves told Shepelev, to publish videos and thus compromise it.
After the search, the activist was taken away for interrogation, Shepelev refused to testify under the 51st article of the Constitution. According to him, law enforcement officers bowed him to testify against Vyacheslav Maltsev. At the same time, they claimed that they detained Maltsev, and that he, in turn, had already testified against Shepelev.
In 2017, Vyacheslav Shepelev told the OVD-Info about his conversation with the major of the E Center in connection with the rally against raising housing and communal services tariffs. Then he was also asked questions about the movement of “artillery” and his leader Vyacheslav Maltsev.
