In August 2011, another entrepreneur ”to participate in the same program provided false data without plans to actually open her own business. To do this, she turned to the aforementioned fraudsters - they already transferred 529 thousand rubles to them on the same account, which were also spent on personal goals of scammers.

The prosecutor of the Kurumkansky district filed a lawsuit to reimburse 1 million rubles in favor of the federal budget and 56 thousand rubles in favor of the Republican. The court of first instance granted the prosecutor’s claims completely, but the defendants did not agree with this and filed appeals. The appeal instance did not find the grounds for canceling the court decision. Nevertheless, a criminal case against one of the convicts was terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations of criminal prosecution. All three were freed from criminal punishment on an amnesty.
