Participants in the protest recalled that in 1990, after the proclamation of independence, the formation of democracy began in the country. However, today, according to the speakers, the majority of rights and freedoms in Russia ceased to exist. People held signs in their hands, reminiscent of various articles of the Constitution, which, in their opinion, are not applied or limited.

“The last triumph of the new, so -called sovereign democracy we saw three months ago, on March 18 this year. And now, apparently, it was decided to extend this triumph, as an advanced experience, to all regions of our country,” said Andrei Gladchenko, head of the Novosibirsk branch of the Russian Party of the Future party.
