The Bashkortostan court overturned the fine to a local volunteer of Navalny’s headquarters for the action on May 5

The Supreme Court of Bashkortostan canceled a fine of 15 thousand rubles to Alexandra Maslova, a volunteer of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny. Rosbalt writes about this with reference to headquarters coordinator Liliya Chanysheva.

Maslova was accused under Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the organizer of the procedure for holding a public event) due to the action on May 5.

At the meeting, the Supreme Court drew attention to the fact that the case was considered in the first instance without notifying the activist. Maslova's case was sent for review.

The activist was detained on May 20 in the women's restroom at the airport and taken to the police department located at the same airport.
