In the village of Tugach in the Sayansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the "Museum in the Open" was opened right on the site of the Tugachinsky branch of Kraslag. It was created by the descendants of prisoners and camp employees.
The local camp point was designed for 1800 people - this is three times more than the current population of the village. Now in Tugach there are descendants of prisoners and former Kraslag employees. Together, they recreate the history of the village, located in it of the camp point, the biography of prisoners. The initiators of this work several years ago were the daughter of an employee of Kraslag and the daughter -in -law of the prisoner, who was sitting in the same camp where her father worked, Lyudmila Miller and the head of the Tugachinsky village council, daughter and granddaughter of prisoners, Tamara Petrov. I had to search for information by bit: it was almost impossible to get them through official channels. Now the collected materials have become the basis for the exposure of the "open -air museum".
