Birobidzhan: Roskomnadzor lost the court of an Internet newspaper because of the word "pipets"

In Birobidzhan, the regional department of Roskomnadzor lost the court to the local online publication "Nabat", which previously fined for the use of the word "pipets". It sounded in one of the videos published on the portal. According to the representatives of the department, the “pipets” refers to non -normative vocabulary and denotes the female genital organ. A protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up to the editor -in -chief of the publication of Vladimir Sakharovsky.

The editors appealed to the regional court, the proceedings lasted six months. Representatives of the press had to prove that in the material the word "pipets" really sounds, and not the mat that the employees of Roskomnadzor heard. In the case, phonoscopic and phonolinguistic examinations were prescribed. For more than two months, the experts of the forensic center of the regional police studied the video for more than two months. According to the dictionary, the following meaning of the word "pipets" was established: "end, sad result."

The administrative proceedings were terminated by the court due to the absence of an offense event in the actions of the newspaper. The editor -in -chief said that he was satisfied with this decision, despite the fact that the process took him a lot of effort and time.
