
On June 14, in Siberia and the Far East, the regional authorities decided not to extinguish 43 forest fires, their total area is 91.5 thousand hectares. During the day, the area of such fires increased by 26 thousand hectares. All foci are located in remote areas, space monitoring is followed.
According to the Federal Dispatching Service of the Forest Protection, almost half of the fires operate in Yakutia - 40.7 thousand hectares, the rest are in the Khabarovsk (10.9 thousand) and Transbaikal (3 thousand) edges, the Amur (22.4 thousand) and Irkutsk (9.6 thousand hectares) areas. In total - 30 fires.

The total area of fires, the extinguishing of which is suspended 91.5 thousand hectares, is 26 thousand more than a day ago, when they occupied a territory of 65.5 thousand hectares.
