Three participants in the rally “For Free Internet” were fined in Moscow

The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined three left-wing activists 10,000 rubles. This was reported to OVD-Info by lawyer Alexei Gorinov.

In May, activists were detained at an agreed rally "For Free Internet". According to law enforcement officers, their slogans did not correspond to the declared theme of the rally. All three detainees were found guilty of violating the rules for holding an event by a participant (part 5, part 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• On May 13, police officers detained 25 activists of the Black Bloc, the Nation and Freedom Committee, and the Popular Resistance Association at a rally "For Free Internet".
• The next day, Lidia Osipova, an activist of the National Revolutionary Vanguard (NRA), was sentenced to 140 hours of compulsory work. She was found guilty of repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
