Tyumen blogger Alexei Kungurov, who was convicted for posting on his blog, was released on June 15. This was reported on the website Znak.com .
Kungurov, who served 2 years under the article on justifying terrorism (Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), told the Znak.com journalist that he did not want to stay in Russia, because during his term, the employees of the Center for Combating Extremism and the Federal Penitentiary Service did not once promised that they would not leave him alone:
Pretty much everyone says that, and in pretty much the same way. Opera of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Center E of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And when I was behind the fence, conversations with me were conducted by people from various levels, including high officials, including colonels. They came to teach me about life. And they said: “You understand, with terrorists it is impossible according to the law. They are killing our children. And since you are also a terrorist, you must understand that appeals to the law do not work here. Go free, but understand that soon you and I will fight again.
According to Kungurov, immediately after his release, he plans to leave the territory of Russia.
